2. The short version
The App collects no data. It contains no networking code — it does not connect to any server, including ours. There is nowhere for information about you or your files to be sent.
3. What the App does not do
Specifically, the App:
- requires no registration, account or sign-in,
- collects no contact details, location data or device identifiers,
- runs no analytics and sends no usage reports,
- shows no advertising and uses no ad networks,
- contains no third-party tracking libraries,
- never sends the contents of your files anywhere off your device.
4. Your files and session data
The files you open stay where you keep them. The App runs inside the system sandbox and can only reach files and folders you select yourself.
So that your work can be restored after you quit or after a crash, the App stores a session snapshot — the list of open tabs, caret positions and any unsaved text. This data:
- is written only locally, inside the App’s own Application Support directory,
- never overwrites your own files,
- is never transmitted anywhere,
- is deleted once the document is saved or the tab is closed.
Deleting the App removes this data with it.
5. Data processed by Apple
The App is distributed through the App Store. Apple may process data related to the download and, if you have enabled it in your system settings, aggregated crash and performance reports. This happens under Apple’s own terms, based on your device settings, outside the App and without our involvement. If you turn analytics sharing off in your device settings, we receive nothing at all.
6. If you email us
If you write to us, we process the data contained in that correspondence (your email address and the content of your message) solely in order to reply. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in handling enquiries (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We keep correspondence no longer than needed to deal with the matter and document how it was handled.
7. Your rights
To the extent we process your data — in practice, email correspondence — you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and port that data, and to object to its processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority: Prezes Urzędu Ochrony Danych Osobowych, ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, Poland.
8. Children
The App may be used by people of any age. It collects no information whatsoever, and therefore collects no information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
If what the App does with data ever changes, we will update this page and the date above. The new version applies from the moment it is published.
