Just Editor Terms of Use
Last updated: 29.10.2026

1. General

These Terms govern the use of the Just Editor application (the “App”), published by:

Downloading, installing or using the App means you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, do not use the App.

2. What the App is

Just Editor is a text and code editor for macOS and iOS/iPadOS. It opens, edits and saves files stored on your device or in locations you choose yourself.

The App works entirely locally: it requires no account, does not connect to the network, and never stores your content on our servers. It is not a storage or synchronisation service.

3. Price

The App is provided free of charge and contains no in-app purchases or subscriptions.

We may introduce paid features or a voluntary support option in future versions. Any such payment would be handled exclusively by Apple under App Store rules, and features already provided free of charge in the version you have installed will not be taken away because of it.

4. Licence

You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the App on the terms set out in the End User Licence Agreement and the App Store Terms of Service. The App is licensed, not sold.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to use the App lawfully and for its intended purpose. You must not:

6. Your files are your responsibility

The App writes changes to the files you point it at. You remain responsible for the content of those files, for keeping backups, and for the lawfulness of what you do with them.

Session restore works locally and is a convenience feature — it is not a backup. Keep your own backups of anything important.

7. Requirements

The App requires a device running a version of macOS or iOS/iPadOS stated on its App Store page. No internet connection is required.

8. Support and complaints

Support requests and complaints about the App can be sent to pawelfrydrych95@gmail.com. Please include a description of the problem, your device, and your system and App versions. We reply within 14 days of receiving a complaint.

Anything concerning the download or App Store billing is handled by Apple under its own rules.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the App changes or the law requires it. The current version is always published on this page with its date. Continuing to use the App after a change is published means you accept it.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by Polish law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence. Consumers may also use out-of-court complaint and redress mechanisms, including the European Commission’s ODR platform.
